Do you have any prior experience with staffing on an HL2RP server? - If so give evidence - : Not in a HL2RP in specific, but I was staff in two midrp servers, and one heavy roleplay metro 2033 server. Unfortunately they are no longer up and it's been long enough for me to forget their names. I've also been staff in other games, like ss13, if that counts. Made my own server and all, sunset wasteland.

Why do you wish to become a staff member for NIGHTFλLL’s community? : I enjoy playing here so far, and I'd like to give a little more to the community. However, my intention is NOT to be a regular staff. I'm already tired of the drama administrators have to take for breakfast every time they log on, so I'll sit on that aspect for a while.
What I intend to apply for is a Game Master position. I'll still deal with minor things if needed, like making a few props static, unstuck players, or ban the occassional keyboard mash description trying to punch people without talking a single word. I do not intend to get into any sort of heavy admin matters if I can help it though.

How long have you been playing HL2RP for, and or RP as a whole? : pretty much two thirds of my 2,190.9 hours on garrys mod have been spent in half life 2 roleplay. As for roleplay? I've been roleplaying for 8 years or so.

Have you read through the rules on the discord? : yup yup.

Have you broken any of these rules? : nope.

STAFFING SCENARIOS

You are called to the scene of a supposed RDM. The attacking party has stated that he RPed the attack properally but the other party states that the man not only ran up and began stabbing his character but did it whilst under 4 Civil-Protection officers were offline. What would you do?
log checking time, see if he actually roleplayed it proper or not, and ask the attacker for their reason to attack. If I'm unconvinced on either, I'll just declare the combat voided and send them on their way.

During a staff meeting, the OTA faction leader begins complaining about lack of interest in their faction and blames the CP faction lead from OOC telling people to join their ranks instead of the OTA faction. Things get heated fast, what would you do?

remind the OTA leader that his faction is not as active because it's not really supposed to. They're meant to be the bigger scarier boys that make people shit their pants when they do appear, and that if he wants people to join his faction, he should just take some initiative on recruiting, or work together with the CP leader to offer the best CP characters a promotion to OTA. If they don't listen, though, I'll probably tab away. If someone gets actually mad over that I'd argue they shouldn't be a lead, anyway.

The resistance frees their leader from a combine outpost. Whilst RPing their escape, another admin on scene stops the RP from continuing as there are suspicions on whether or not the people within the resistance were using DISCORD as a way to meta their escape. The admin has little to no evidence, what would you do?

They raised the issue, their problem. If they ask me, I'll check some logs in case I find anything fishy, like lack of communication to justify actions, but honestly this is something I'd stay out of normally as a Game Master.

Whilst staffing, an argument between two individuals in OOC starts to get quite heated, there have been multiple warnings to both parties and you are the only admin online. One individual throws an IP address onto the OOC chat, what would you do?

mute OOC, lightly meme on the guy sending a random IP address with my new admin privileges, maybe kick them if they were rude enough.

During low-peak hours you notice a player bunny-hopping around the map, there are around two people online and both of them just seem to be going AFK and collecting rations with no intent to roleplay. What would you do?

first I'd physgun shake the guy b-hopping or just PM them something weird and ominous, that'll surely let him know I'm watching. Then, if there's enough players, I'll light up a little mini event to entertain them and keep them from afk farming or wandering around aimlessly. I rather make things interesting than punish people for being bored, you know?

By completing this Application do you understand that as a moderator you are to be unbiased as possible at all times? You will stick to the rules and are never above them and you will be treated the exact same as anyone else.

Yes.

I want to reiterate, I intend to create events and stories in the server, not to administrate it. Thank you for your time.
